Week beginning 17th October

Our Science learning last week was very interactive, and our thanks go to Mrs Sewell for showing us how an impression and mould of our teeth is made, and also for her generous gift to every child. We also started an investigation into what effect different liquids have on egg shells, the results of which we will see first-hand later this week. There are some photos of the children mid-way through our plaque investigation on the gallery below.
As the last week of term upon us, it’s time to assess where we have got to. So, in maths there will be some assessments on place value as well as on addition and subtraction, while in English, there is an assessed piece of writing, based around our learning on Roman myths.
Changes to the norm this week include a non-school uniform day on Thursday, and no swimming this week, due to our Harvest celebrations, although it recommences after half term on Friday 4th November. Exact details and timings of these events can be found elsewhere on this website.
Congratulations to Alice who received our behaviour award last week.
