Harvest, harvest, harvest.
Congratulations to Alana for being our last Star of the Week for Term 1. Can you believe we are already coming to the end of our first term in Yellow Class? Alana has had a very successful term and sets a very good example of behaviour and enthusiasm for learning. Well done Alana.
We have had a very busy term of story telling and writing in Yellow Class, with the The Pig in the Pond and our own creations of The Snail in the School. As a result we now have 30 now stories about a very silly/super/slimy/skinny/sly/sleepy snail that got into our school. These books will be coming home this week and I hope you enjoy listening to your child read them to you. We had lots of fun writing them!
During our last week we will be focusing largely on celebrating Harvest, building up to our celebration in the church on Thursday at 1:30pm in the church. We hope to see you there.
In between rehearsals and performances we will also be focusing on addition in our maths lessons in preparation for next term.
There will be no homework set over half term however I will still set books on Bug Club and tasks on Mathletics if our Yellows want to indulge in a little light learning.
Enjoy the week off and keep safe.
