Week beginning 12th December

Thank you to everyone who was able to accept the invitation to take part in the children’s learning last week.  It was a unique opportunity for the children to get immediate feedback on their learning and a good chance for you to see the school working under fairly normal conditions.

Christmas events hit us hard this week, starting on Monday, where our recorder players attend a music festival at Highsted.  On Tuesday, the whole class will be singing to members of the Blind Fellowship, while Wednesday is our trip to the pantomime.  Everyone will need a packed lunch and a separate drink and snack for our return journey.  We are expected back at approximately 5pm but if this changes, I expect that a text message will go out giving any changes. Friday is Christmas jumper day and also our performance of A Choral Christmas.   Due to this, there is no swimming this week.

If time allows, in our English learning, we will looking at adverbs and prepositions before moving on to plan and write our own story, based in a familiar setting. Division and multiplication practice will continue in maths. Congratulations to Zak who received our behaviour award last week.

We look forward to seeing you all at some stage next week.
