Let's take a look at London.
Congratulation Maxwell! He is our new Star of the Week due to his wonderful start to the new year and term. Maxwell has hit the ground running with a focused attitude and sensible choices.
Coming up this week we will be ensuring that we have mastered multiplication with some games, mental maths and mastery tasks. This will be followed by looking at the inverse, division, using Miss Rogers' dividing house to introduce the 'pooling' method.
In English we will continue to look at non-fiction texts as we welcome Paddington Bear to England. Using 'Safe-Search' we will take some time to explore information texts available online before starting to write our own.
Last week Yellow Class created some beautiful landscape paintings in the style of Claude Monet, some of which have been displayed on our art display board. This week we will be exploring Monet's use of colour when he painted the Houses of Parliament, before painting other London Landmarks. I look forward to photographing our paintings and posting the photographs on our website soon.
