Week beginning Monday 6th November 2017
What a hectic first week back! We have already jumped straight into instructional text in English and multiplication and division of 3s in Maths.
The children were introduced to Pneumatics in DT as we prepare to make our Moving Monsters.
We will be continuing along to the same theme in English but we will be having a real push on presentation as we have become very sloppy with underlining, presentation and handwriting haven't we Green?
Maths is the same concepts but adding in the 4s to the mix!
We looked at the story of Blind Bartimaeus in RE and this week we will look at the story of Jairus' Daughter as we continue with our Christian theme.
The children had some fantastic questions for the start of our new topics in both Science and History and we are looking forward to doing lots of research to answer their questions on rocks and The Stone Age. Slightly worried that the children think I was around in the Stone Age to know the answers! :)
Congratulations to Tyler who won our merit award during Fridays celebration assembly. Myles was our class pupil of the week and our table winners were Yellow table - a table full of boys! Well done.
Please could you start saving 'clean' junk in preparation for our DT projects. Cereal boxes, kitchen roll tubes, tubs, pots, small boxes etc etc. Thank you.
