Yes, I know that it's still only November but perfecting all that singing doesn't happen overnight! Once again this year, Key Stage 2 will perform a 'Choral Christmas' - there will be a morning and an afternoon performance - both on Tuesday December 19th. At the moment we are rehearsing with year 5 while years 3 and 4 practise separately - however that will all change next week.
Aside from this, lessons continue as normal. With the development day and school tours last week, we didn't get as much done as originally planned so its all steam ahead this week to finish the formal letters in English and move on to newspaper articles. Some grammar revision and reading comprehension will also be thrown into the mix.
In maths we did brilliantly with multiplying simple fractions so now it's onto multiplication of mixed numbers and whole numbers by simple fractions, then division of fractions and fractions of amounts.
Well done to Annie for being our merit ward winner last week and to Felix for earning an invitation to Golden Club. I also need to say a huge well done to EVERYONE for being fantastic tour guides to prospective parents - you were truly brilliant ambassadors for Tunstall.
