Week beginning 18/12/17.
Indigo Class "performances" finally arrive this week, reserved as they should be for the dying days of the term. Interruptions to the timetable therefore dominate...
On Monday morning we will whizz up to the church in order to assemble the tableaux in situ for Wednesday's Carol Service. Once back, there will be a massed hand-bell practice before ten of the class go a-carolling for the residents of the Woodstock Home. Those remaining with me will have an impromptu DT challenge to complete. Tuesday is dominated by two performances of the Choral Christmas sing-song and then Wednesday morning will see the class take part in the 9.30 Carol Service. This is the morning on which I'm asking for children to be in school for 0830, please, so that we may be ready to play guests into the church. Wednesday afternoon will be a recovery period for all, except Leean who will be returning to church for a final choir performance. I imagine the afternoon service will end at about 1430 with children arriving back at school from 1445 onwards should any Indigo Class parents wish to arrive at a similar time in order to start their family Christmas.
Thank you to all for the hard work this term.
Normal service will be resumed on Thursday 4th January. Until then, I wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas and a peaceful New Year.
