Orange Classes really enjoyed their fun day on Friday. The children looked super in their costumes and there was lots of literacy work completed by all. Well done to everyone!
Thank you very much for the time and effort taken to organise, make and assemble the children's outfits they all looked absolutely fabulous.
This week is going to be lots of fun too! We will be preparing our Easter presentations and are looking forward to going to the Easter services on Thursday. There will also be some other fun Easter activities going on too...
As well as all of this we will be completing our work on poetry - the children have thought of lots of interesting language to describe daffodils and have made up some fantastic sentences of their own. We will be putting them together in Daffodil poems.
Our maths continues with work on place value for numbers up to 50 and beyond. We will be using different types of counting apparatus to work out the amount of tens and ones in a number. We will also be practising counting in 2's, 5's and 10's in readiness for more work using these number facts at the beginning of next term.
We are hoping the weather is good to us and looking forward to a fabulous week!
We would all like to wish you a very HAPPY EASTER.
Mrs Scargill, Mrs Jenkins, Mrs Buchanan, Miss Kirkwood and Mrs Heather.
