We have a new member in class.

George, our goldfish finally arrived and after a shaky start he was happily swimming around on Friday.  We have to wait a whole further week until we can get fish number 2!  Any ideas for a name, please share.

This week we will be looking at column addition and subtraction in Maths.  We complete our Mrs Cole tales and concentrate on using apostrophes and speech marks.

We continue with our magnets and forces topic in Science and investigate what materials still allow a magnetic field through it.

You have all done so well remembering your continents in Geography and we continue our world tour as we discover facts about capital cities.

Your aboriginal art looks fantastic on the display board outside our classroom, you are more than welcome to let your mum or dad have a look after school one day.

Well done to both Jason and Prize who were our class pupils of the week.  The merit award in assembly went to Mia, fantastic as always Mia and table group winners were the perfect penguins.  Well done to all winners this week!

Thank you so much to the parents that have started reading with the class, this helps massively as it releases a TA to support learning in other subjects and work on intervention groups with children.

We are still on the look out for male helpers for the boys only reading club.  This is a Thursday from 3.30 - 4.30, refreshments will be provided!
