Thank you to everyone who donated last week to Children in Need.
You may have noticed that in the book bags there was a letter about our upcoming phonics afternoons. These are an opportunity to see your child's classroom, find out how we use our learning space and most importantly pick up some hints and tips for helping your child to prepare for the phonics screening next year. This will be an informative (and hopefully fun!) afternoon so we hope as many of you as possible can make it.
This week we will be starting our rehearsals for our Christmas Nativity - Mend the Manger. All the teachers are very excited and can't wait to get started with the songs and performance.
We will also be returning to addition and subtraction in maths - we will be using trickier numbers and trying to solve some missing number problems. We will be continuing with information (non-fiction) text in English and will be getting historical with famous people from the past! We will also be continuing to explore materials and their properties in Science as well as working on our Christmas trees ready for the church festival.
Miss Adams will not be in class this Monday so Orange A's reading books will go out on Tuesday next week :-)
Have a lovely week!
