Week beginning Monday 27th 2017
Our last Tiger Troop Tuesday is upon us. It would be great to see lots of parents at the awards event at 2.50pm on Tuesday. You may take your child home after the assembly. Children will still be doing Tiger Troop activities prior to the assembly so please still send in their outdoor gear and a bottle of water.
Congratulations to Jack who won the merit award last week, Megan and Lucy were our pupil of the week winners and Charlie's were table winners AGAIN, who will beat this formidable team!
For our last week before Easter we will move on to performance poetry in English. Maths is our last week of fractions which have proved tricky and simple for some in equal measures!
Hopefully we will be sending volcanoes home after their first eruption, the children should be able to remove them once they are home as they should not be too soggy!
Family life through the ages will come to an end in History and we will move on to Geography which is to compare 2 towns - our trip to Rye will be towards the middle of term 5.
Next term we will be back to 'normal' PE lessons on a Tuesday and a Thursday so please make sure that PE kit is in school for both days and that the children have both in and out doors footwear.
We look forward to seeing parents at our Easter Service on Friday 31st March, please check your newsletter or the school website for the timings, especially if you have more than one child at the school, as their is now a morning and afternoon service.
Happy Easter to all children and parents.
