Last week was great fun in Orange classes. We had our Sublime Science workshops on Monday which were great fun. We learnt about how to make different sounds, how to break down the molecules of materials and the properties of bubbles. Then on Thursday we had our school trip to Chatham Dockyard. A huge thank you again to all those who helped out on the day. We had a great (if hot!) day learning about lifeboats, making our own boats, meeting a real pirate and exploring the Dockyard.
This week we have two performances: the school spoken English competition on Monday afternoon and a special performance on Wednesday. Please remember to send your child in with their chosen piece if they have been chosen to perform! On Wednesday afternoon the children will get to relax and it is the turn of the staff of Tunstall School to perform!
Alongside performances we will be continuing to learn about information text in English and produce our own information leaflet based on our work at Chatham Dockyard and learning about pirates. We will be moving on to learning about capacity in Maths with the aim of combining our learning about healthy eating, weight and capacity in the last week of term through some baking (yum yum!).
We will be finishing off our Science, RE and History for the term as well as getting in some last minute sports day practice.
