Week beginning 6th November
We are very pleased to welcome a new member to our team here in Blue Class. Mrs Witt will be joining us next week as a teaching assistant, allowing us to give the children more support with their learning. The following Monday, our team of three becomes four, as we also welcome Mrs Chase to the class as a teaching assistant, giving the children even more support. Your children’s progress and well-being is our upmost priority, and we are sure you will give us all your continued support.
This week, our English focus switches to Fables, where we will be looking at their features and discussing morals, while our grammar learning will be based around speech marks. In maths, we are looking this week at measures and perimeter and in geography we investigate coastal erosion.
We will start RE this week, discussing pilgrimages and we continue our research in DT by looking at and tasting, if the permission slip is returned, some different sandwiches and recording their ingredients.
This week is the last swimming session for the current group. You will have received a letter, if your child is in the next group. Please make sure you have completed and returned the permission slip to the office.
Congratulations to Chloe who received our behaviour award for last week.
