PGL fever continues in Violet Class with only 11 sleeps left until we set off!

Life in Violet class continues to be busy as we head into another new week. With only 30 days left at Tunstall, we are following the the great Muhammad Ali's mantra - 'Don't count the days, make the days count' - so this week we will be busy with our enterprise project as well as learning about the EU referendum and of course celebrating the Queen's birthday on Friday.

Our Fiver Challenge teams are all making great progress and this week those teams running an after school activity, will finish preparing the letters to go home and plan the actual events. There will be interactive story telling for year 1 and baking activities for years 1 and 2. One group (Tunstall Cafe) will set up a morning cafe for parents while Car Crazy will offer car washing for parents and teachers. The £5 start up money will be distributed early in the week.

As far as the EU referendum is concerned, we will learn about the EU and look at both the leave and the stay viewpoints, using the information we learn in our writing. There will also be straw polls on the playground (anonymos of course), so look out for Tunstall's version of a MORI poll!
