Actually if I were to be pedantic, its slightly over half way - 100 days done 95 to go (or 92 if you take out development days) and only 48 school days until SATs!
As some of you may have noticed, the first sentence includes the subjunctive form - one of the many grammatical features we need to revise this term in regular short grammar revision sessions. Reading comprehension will also be a focus in early work but writing skills will remain as the main focus of English lessons, starting with debating the topic of deforestation in the Amazon rainforest, before writing persuasively on the subject.
On Tuesday we are visiting the Gravesend Gurdwara - an amazing example of a Sikh temple which will give the children further insight into the Sikh faith. Many thanks to Mrs Julier for arranging and planning the trip.
We have visiting instructors for both our weekly PE sessions this term - cricket on Tuesday and interval training on Thursday, so make sure that PE kits are in school on both days!
