Week commencing Monday 11th June 2018
What a great week we had during Science week, culminating in an explosion using Coke and Mentos!
Well done to all those that displayed their Science projects at the fair, very impressive!
Another busy week ahead with assessments in the morning followed by normal lessons from 11am.
We move onto Plants in Science and Comparing UK towns in Geography, hence our Canterbury trip.
I have had all except one trip slip back so we are good to go. Please make sure you check the weather for Wednesday and send the children with either waterproofs or extra water!
Some of the children may have told you that Mr Conway is going to be moving 'next door' to teach Blue Class for the foreseeable future. Mrs Foot will be returning to us and will cover the TA role in Green class for mornings and 3 afternoons per week until further notice.
Hopefully we will be outside for both PE lessons for the summer term so please ensure trainers are in school each week and a t-shirt and shorts/skirt.
The children had photos taken today with owls! Further details of how you can purchase these will follow.
Congratulations to Sadie who was our pupil of the week. There was no celebration assembly due to the owl display so the merit award will be carried over to next week.
Please could you send any clean plastic bottles in and anything that would be good to make rocket boosters! ie. yoghurt pots. We are designing and making our own rockets next week!
