Week beginning Monday 25th June
I was going to say this was our first 'normal' week of the term, but it's not - It's Matilda week! We have our dress rehearsal on Tuesday and the evening performances on Thursday and Friday - the children's singing is fantastic and if you have tickets, you will absolutely love the show. Especially Mr Julier as the evil Miss Trunchball!
However, learning must continue...in English, we begin play scripts where we will be using The Witches by Roald Dahl to help.
Maths is looking at and making 3D shapes and learning about their properties.
We continue with comparing Sittingbourne and Canterbury and writing our independent projects following our trip.
PE will be competing in the field events during both our PE slots so that we have the scores ready for the actual event the following week. Please ensure PE kit is in school and the children have the correct colour shirt for the sports afternoon as they will be sitting in their houses.
We will be planting runner beans seeds in science and seeing what conditions they need, this is last weeks lesson carried over!
Please ensure children are all suncreamed up this week! They need water bottles and caps for break and lunch time as it is going to be a scorching week apparently, yay!
