Week beginning Monday 16th July 2018
I cannot believe we are here, our final week together as Team Green. I would like to thank you all for a wonderful year. They really are a special class and you should be very proud of your little people. I will truly, truly miss them and don't want to send them off to the merry world of Blue!
This week however....we still have a little bit of work to do. Monday see's us writing to our penpals for one last time in English using informal letter writing. We finish capacity in maths by making fruit punch and measuring out whichever fruit juice we would like in our drinks!
We will finish our Science topic by seeing the purpose of the stem, we switched it last week to looking at leaves as someone (me) forgot to buy the white carnations!
Geography will finalise our projects and finish our research on Tunstall village.
Tuesday is our transition morning where the children will spend their morning getting used to life in Year 4.
Wednesday afternoon is our picnic to say goodbye to Mrs Hutchings.
Thursday is the Spoken English Competition.
Friday is a leaving assembly for Mrs Hutchings, followed by a church service for year 6 and the Year 6 leavers assembly in the afternoon. If anyone is available to walk to the church on Friday about 11am, that would be great please.
Once again, a huge thank you to all of you for a wonderful, hardworking year. Have a fantastic Summer holidays.
Mrs Black :)
