Week beginning Monday 10th September
Green B & T have had a fab first week back. Both classes have enjoyed their Smartie Investigation. Who knew there was such a difference in each tube!
Green B have done some adjective work in English whilst Green T wrote a letter to their new headteacher!
We will be continuing our Geography work next week on continents and looking at the countries within each continent.
Science continues looking at forces and magnets and investigating in a scientific way!
Art is all about Aboriginals and patterns and RE will see us looking at People that Follow God as we kick off our brand new RE scheme.
We will be trialling out the daily mile next week, each morning, to see if it wakes up our brain ready for learning so please ensure your child has trainers in class.
Just a quick note about reading books - despite advising on the blog that we would change books once a week we have had countless notes that books are finished and need changing. I am sure you can appreciate that we can not change 2 books for 58 children every day so if they have finished their books they can read any you have at home or from the library. You will be notified of their weekly book changing day on Monday via their contact book.
Congratulations to Harry and Gibson who were B & T merit award winners.
Congratulation also to Poppy M and Red table from Green B who were the pupil of the week and table winners respectively.
Have a great weekend
