Week beginning Monday 24th September
We've finally left place value for now and using the skills we have learnt from this we will be moving on to add and subtract in 1s, 10s and 100s.
English also leave Mrs Cole behind and moves on to Traditional Myths starting with The Tiger Child.
We will continue with our magnets and forces in Science and with The World in Geography.
This week should be slightly more 'normal' after the chaos of tennis on the windiest day ever and having to have a few other lessons switched around due to visitors in school.
Congratulations to Savannah and Maisie who were the merit award winners in Celebration Worship. Savannah and Evie gained their pen licenses in Green T and B respectively and Toffy won Pupil of the week in Green B. Well done Blue table who took the crown from red table as the winners in Green B this week.
Please again ensure that trainers are in school each day, spellings are learnt, homework is in by Friday and reading books are in school on the day your child has their reading and book changing day...not too much to remember Mums!
We are also having a lot of jumpers lost and found. Please ensure your child's name is in all their uniform and encourage them to look after their jumper especially if they take it off during break time. With 60 children now in Green it is becoming a full time job to match jumpers to children!
Here's to a great week.
