What an exciting week we have ahead of us!
On Monday we will be visited by Mrs Hurwood from the Food Bank. She will be talking to us about what the Food Bank does and we will be linking her work to our RE question 'what do Christians do to say thank you to God?'
In English this week we will be learning about verbs and applying these to sentences. To challenge our children we will also be using adverbs to describe the verbs in our writing.
In Maths we will be focusing on subtraction. We will be taking a one digit number away from a one digit number and a one digit number away from a two digit number.
In sciene we are looking at the importance of exercise to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
In PE we will continue to develop our push passes with a partner.
Looking ahead to Christmas, we have been asked about the times and plans for the Key Stage 1 Nativity performances on 7th December. Both Orange and both Yellow Classes will be performing together.
The morning performance will be at 9.30am and the parents of Orange S and Yellow S will be invited to attend.
The afternoon performance will be at 2.30pm and the parents of Orange A and Yellow B will be invited to attend.
We hope these details will help you plan your diary. You will of course receive notification via Parentmail nearer the time.
