Nativity rehearsals begin!
We have a very busy and exciting week ahead of us.
We will be preparing for our Nativity this year called ‘Whoops-A-Daisy Angel’. This week we will be learning the songs, receiving parts and lines will be sent home on Friday. Please do your best to practise these so that our rehearsals will be more fluid.
In maths we will be continuing to develop our ability to solve missing number problems. For example something – 12 = 24. We will also be exploring ways we can make different amounts and we will apply this skill to the concept of money.
In English we will continue to read The Owl Who Was Afraid Of the Dark and we will be learning how to use exclamation marks.
In science we will be discussing what absorbency is and we will be investigating the absorbency of materials.
On Tuesday, our doors will be opened for the Phonics afternoon. In Yellow classrooms, you will learn about the different ways you can support your child with their spelling.
