Gosh, only 10 days to go - where did the time go?
Well done to everyone who performed in the school concert on Friday - by all accounts there were some terrific performances.
There is another busy week ahead in Violet Class, particularly for the 15 children in drama club as they rehearse and perform their end of year show - South Pacific. The rest of the class are looking forward to being in the audience on Thursday afternoon. On Tuesday, several members of the class will take part in the county kwik cricket finals - good luck to everyone involved. On Wednesday morning we will hold the class auditions for the annual Spoken English competition, the final of which will be held next Monday afternoon (18th). Hopefully everyone who wishes to participate has chosen an appropriate piece of text or poem and practising is well under way. Remember props and actions are good additions! Friday is class swap morning, so Violet class will be spending some time with Miss Matthews and Miss Miles while I get to know more about the current Indigo class. After school the children then have their Leavers' Party at Gravity and then back at school - so lots to look forward to.
We also need to squeeze in rehearsing for the Leaver's Celebration at the end of term, which this year is changing format. It's tricky to fit so many children in church so KS2 and any year 6 parents who wish to, will join us for a church service at 11am and a whole school celebration in the main school hall in the afternoon. Full details will be sent home early this week.
