Week Commencing: Monday 3rd December 2018
We are now into the final month of the year, and the final few weeks of our first long term in Key Stage Two. It was very nice to meet with you all last week to discuss how this time in Green Class has been. We were delighted with the overall positivity of the consultations- as always, if any queries were left unanswered, please let us know via the contact book or by catching us at the end of the day.
We are reaching that point in the year when everything revolves around the one day in December all the children cannot wait for. In English this week, we will be doing some descriptive writing all about the Bear and the Hare, the John Lewis advert from a few years ago. As well as this, our R.E. unit now moves from Sikhism back to Christianity and the way Christians celebrate at this time of the year.
Pair this with the Christmas Bazaar after school on Wednesday, and the small pieces of chocolate the children may be eating each morning, and we could have some very excited children on our hands. It’s all in the spirit of Christmas I suppose!
Congratulations to last week’s behaviour merit award winners- Lucy of Green T and Charlie of Green B. Let’s have another great week starting tomorrow.
