Funding

The Primary PE and Sport Premium is government funding provided to primary schools to improve the quality of physical education, physical activity and sport for all pupils.

At Tunstall Church of England Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that every child has access to high-quality PE, competitive sport and opportunities to lead active, healthy lifestyles. We use the funding to enhance our PE curriculum, develop staff expertise, increase participation in sporting activities and provide a wide range of enrichment opportunities.

Pupil Premium is additional government funding provided to schools to support disadvantaged pupils and help close attainment gaps. This funding enables us to provide targeted academic support, enrichment opportunities and pastoral care to ensure that every child can thrive both academically and personally.
