Computing at Tunstall CofE Primary is creative, purposeful and future-focused.

Rooted in our Christian vision, we equip children with the digital skills, computational thinking and ethical understanding needed to flourish in a rapidly changing world.

Our curriculum combines Computer Science, Information Technology and Digital Citizenship, enabling pupils to develop confidence in coding, problem-solving, digital creation and online safety. Through practical, hands-on learning, children use a range of technologies including iPads, laptops, programmable toys, Micro:bits, robotics and multimedia tools to create, explore and innovate.

Pupils learn to code, debug programs, analyse data, create digital content and communicate effectively using technology. Online safety and digital wellbeing are woven throughout the curriculum, helping children to use technology responsibly and demonstrate respect, kindness and integrity in their online interactions.

Through collaborative projects and real-world applications, we develop confident, creative and resilient learners who are ready to use technology safely, ethically and effectively in school, their community and beyond.
