We believe that God’s abundance is for everyone… “A place where everyone can flourish.” (John 10:10)

This vision shapes our daily life and reflects our commitment to ensuring that every member of our school community is given the opportunity to grow academically, spiritually, socially and emotionally. We celebrate individuality, embrace diversity and strive to create an environment where all children and adults are treated with dignity, respect and kindness.

Tunstall CEP is a thriving and highly regarded school on the outskirts of Sittingbourne. We are delighted that so many families choose our school and we work hard every day to deserve the trust they place in us. Our pupils are at the centre of everything we do, and we are committed to providing an education that inspires curiosity, develops confidence and prepares children for the future.

Our unique Discovery Curriculum offers broad, engaging and memorable learning experiences that place children at the heart of their education. Through creative enquiry, outdoor learning and real-world experiences, pupils are encouraged to ask questions, think deeply and make meaningful connections in their learning. Carefully sequenced learning journeys, immersive ‘hook’ weeks and reflective ‘sinker’ weeks ensure that knowledge is both purposeful and enduring.

We have high expectations for all our children and are proud of the excellent outcomes they achieve across both academic and creative subjects. Whether in mathematics, science, the arts, sport or community projects, we encourage children to be courageous learners, confident risk-takers and resilient problem-solvers.

Our Christian values are lived out through service to others. Children are given many opportunities to lead, contribute and make a positive difference within the school and wider community. From supporting local traditions and community events to taking part in charitable initiatives, our pupils learn what it means to serve with humility, compassion and generosity.

Alongside academic success, we place great importance on wellbeing and pastoral care. We work closely with families, our local churches and the wider community to ensure that children feel safe, secure and supported throughout their primary school journey.

We are incredibly proud that the quality of education and care at Tunstall has been recognised through an Outstanding judgement in all areas by Ofsted. However, what makes our school truly special is the warmth, enthusiasm and sense of belonging that visitors experience when they walk through our doors.

This website provides a glimpse into life at Tunstall Church of England Primary School, but nothing compares to seeing our school in action. We warmly invite you to visit us and discover for yourself what makes Tunstall such a special place to learn, grow and flourish.

I look forward to welcoming you to our school.
