20/09/26

This week we have been:
Partitioning 2-digit numbers into tens and ones.
Learning our skills to use in our own traditional tale.
Learning about the seas around the UK.
Creating relief maps in art.

Next week we will:
Continue our place value topic in maths.
Plan and write our own traditional tales.
Look at aerial maps of our local area.

Notes:
Each week we challenge the children to read at least 3 times to an adult at home and for it to be written in their reading record book.
Each Friday the reading record books will be checked and stamped by the Reading Owl to celebrate the reading enjoyed at home. A distinct line will also be drawn across the page to show the end of the week.
Those children who gain 5 Owl stamps in their Reading Record by the end of Term 1 will receive a prize.
We kindly ask parents/carers to send a set of spare clothes to school for their child in a bag to go on their peg, in case they are needed during the school day. Please ensure the clothes are clearly labelled with your child’s name and are suitable for the current season. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.

Please remember to send in your child's reading record and reading book every day.

Bike tracks:
Yellow M – Monday 5th October and Tuesday 6th October.
Yellow A- Wednesday 7th October and Thursday 8th October.

Kind regards,
Yellow Class team.
