04/10/26
This week we have been:
Counted in 2’s, 5’s and 10’s in maths.
Immersed ourselves into persuasive adverts, understanding what skills are used to persuade.
Contributed to our corridor display for our discovery learning.
Said goodbye to Mrs. Hewett who is sadly leaving us for new pastures.
Next week we will:
Begin our addition and subtraction topic in maths.
Closely study and learn the skills necessary to create our own persuasive advert.
Think about what we would change within our local area.

Notes:
Children who gain 5 Owl stamps in their Reading Record by the end of Term 1 will receive a prize.
Please remember to send your child's reading record to school daily; we read with them most days. We must see their reading record to give them an owl stamp if they have read it 3 or more times at home that week.
We kindly remind parents/carers to send a set of spare clothes to school for their child in a bag to go on their peg, in case they are needed during the school day. Please ensure the clothes are clearly labelled with your child’s name and are suitable for the current season.
