27/09/26
This week we have been:
Look at 1s and 10s on a number line.
Written our own traditional tale with a twist.
Looked at aerial photographs of our local area.
Created a part of our drawn maps with shiny paper to make a stained glass effect.

Next week we will:
Compare and order numbers and objects.
Begin to look at persuasive texts.
Take a trip around our local area.

Below is a link that will show you what sound we are learning in phonics each week, this term.

Notes:
Children who gain 5 Owl stamps in their Reading Record by the end of Term 1 will receive a prize.
Please remember to send your child's reading record to school daily; we read with them most days. We must see their reading record to give them an owl stamp if they have read it 3 or more times at home that week.
We kindly remind parents/carers to send a set of spare clothes to school for their child in a bag to go on their peg, in case they are needed during the school day. Please ensure the clothes are clearly labelled with your child’s name and are suitable for the current season.
Bike tracks:
Yellow M – Monday 5th October and Tuesday 6th October.
Yellow A- Wednesday 7th October and Thursday 8th October.

Kind regards,
Yellow Class Team
